To be more in sync with the market and ensure fairer pricing and risk management, the RWA Index Perpetual Contracts will follow the trading schedule as stated below. This aims to bring the trading of these contracts more in line with traditional financial markets, improving market efficiency.
Trading Hours:
- Overnight session: 20:00 - 04:00 (UTC-4)
- Premarket: 04:00 - 09:30 (UTC-4)
- Market hours: 09:30 - 16:00 (UTC-4)
- After hours: 16:00 - 20:00 (UTC-4)
Trading closes on weekends and public holidays during which the U.S. stock markets are closed—such as Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. For specific market schedules, refer to the holiday calendar of the year published by the NYSE or Nasdaq.
During closure periods, the market price will remain frozen to prevent liquidation. However, users may choose to add margin in anticipation of sharp market moves upon reopening. This helps mitigate the risk of liquidation when the market reopens and adjusts to new prices.
Order cancellations will be allowed during these closures, but new orders will not be accepted. Additionally, funding fees will be paused during market closures, with settlement of funding resuming based on the pair's schedule when trading becomes active again.
