Plasm Network (PLM) changed its name to Astar Network (ASTR).
Astar Network is a scalable and interoperable Web3.0 infrastructure. Astar token is a utility token of the Astar network, which has the following five functions: dApp pledge, NPoS pledge, transaction, chain management, and Layer2.

Astar Network is a Polkadot-based multi-chain multi-virtual machine DApp center that natively supports Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), WebAssembly, Layer2 expansion solutions and mainstream Layer1 blockchains. The Polkadot relay chain does not support smart contracts by design, so DApp developers need a smart contract parachain with superior performance and scalability. In addition, Astar also supports multiple mainstream Layer1 blockchains. The Astar ecosystem has achieved rapid endogenous growth, and multiple teams are building decentralized applications including synthetic assets, stable coins, and multi-chain DEX.
