Merchant Center Tutorial Content:
1. Change Nickname

1. Change Nickname

- Make sure to set a Nickname before starting this process! After you sign up, Deepcoin automatically gives you a nickname like your account login, so update it so its easier to communicate with other traders! You can find that here in the account area:

2. Complete KYC (in app currently, desktop functionality coming soon)

5. Once you have properly uploaded the documents, wait for a few hours while our internal KYC verification team reviews your submission. Once complete, you will be able to come back into the app and see a green check and the word "Authenticated". You may now continue on to the next step, completing the merchant center information.
3. Complete Merchant profile in Desktop application
- Once you are approved as an OTC/P2P merchant, the assets held in the Wallet account will be used for OTC transactions. You are no longer permitted to use this account for P2P buy/sell transactions as a normal retail user any longer. If you wish to use these other services, you can open another Deepcoin account.
- Enter the website of [www.deepcoin.com], log in the merchant's account, and after logging in, scroll down to the bottom of the website. There is an entrance to [OTC Merchant Center] under the Service list.
- Click the [OTC Merchant Center] to enter the OTC merchant page
4. After entering the OTC Merchant Center, in Wallet Overview page, click "Add" to set the assets you want to offer.
- Currently we only have USDT swaps available, but we will add more tokens soon! BTC & ETH on the way!
- Select the Crypto Asset
- Select the Fiat Currency, take Turkey TRY as an example
5. Click "Confirm" to see the following contents in the list
- Account Balance/Available to Trade:Available corresponding to account wallet
- Frozen: The system freezes the currency corresponding to the merchant after the user's purchase order is generated
- Buy Exchange Rate:Show how much of the fiat currency a user will receive for sending 1 USDT. This is customizable.
- Sell Exchange Rate:Shows how much of the fiat currency a user can get by selling 1 USDT to the merchant. This is customizable.
- Manage - Active/Inactive:This refers to putting your assets on the market for trade (only after it is activated will the system match to a user's P2P order).
6. Modifying the Exchange Rate:
- Click the edit "pencil on paper" icon next to the exchange rate listed.
- In the "Modify Exchange Rate" box, you'll see you can edit exchange rate by 2 options - Fixed price or Spread. Once you have set your desired rate, click confirm to save the changes.
- Activate or Deactivate the currency - make sure you have properly activated the currencies that you are looking to trade in. If your status is "Online" however you do not have any currencies active, then you won't match with any traders.
- Dark blue text indicates that the button is clickable, and therefore available to turn on or off. In the picture below, the only currency available for trade is USD as the "Active" text is light blue, and therefore ineligible for clicking.
7. Set Up Payment Methods
- Go to "Merchant Settings" -> "Payment Methods" on the left hand side to set up different payment methods. Each currency offers different external sources for you to use to receive fiat. When buying coins, the user will be presented with the payment method of Fiat currency and the payment collection account number.
- What kinds of payment methods are used for Turkish Lira? Bank card and Paypal are configured here as examples
- Add Payment Method by selecting the currency of choice and then selecting "Add" on the left.
- Select Payment Method
- Enter details as requested per each payment method required.
- You can choose [Make Available]to go online immediately, or choose [Add to List Only] to go online manually later. After going online, it can be matched to the user
- Click Confirm to add successfully; This payment method can be edited, deleted, and Active/Inactive
- See near the red arrow to check the details on your other payment methods
8. Manage Messaging Settings
- Turn the "Email" switch on to activate automatic emails to your address on file when there is a new purchase or sales order.
- At present, only email prompts are supported. If your account is registered with an email, email will be sent to the email used for registration by default. If your account is registered with a mobile phone, you can go to the "Security Settings page in the app to bind an email address.
9. Go Online or Offline
- Manage your trading status at the top here with the "Online/Offiline" setting. If you do not wish to engage in trading with your funds, make sure you turn this off, otherwise the system will continue to automatically match you to users.
4. Confirm user order & complete purchase
1. User will request a Buy or Sell order through the "Buy Crypto" function on the homepage as shown below. They are matched to a merchant based on fund availability, payment method, and best price for the user. This interface will be soon updated to provide more direct choices for the user on which merchant they want to work with.
2. Now the order in progress will show up in the merchant center. the order in progress in the merchant website will generate the order purchased by one of the following users [In Progress-Buy Order-Pending]
3. The user will be prompted to click [I have paid successfully], indicating that the user has paid money to the merchant. At this time, the status of the order in the merchant's background will change to the [Paid]. At this time, the merchant needs to check whether the corresponding capital account has received the payment;
4. If the merchant checks that the payment has been received in his/her account, click [Confirm Payment] and check [I confirm that I have logged in to the receiving account] to complete the transaction.
5. After the order is confirmed, the order status is Completed and the frozen funds are released to the user.
6. If the merchant finds that he/she has not received the payment in his/her account, he/she needs to either;
- Contact the user by phone or email to discuss the payment.
- Go to the customer service to cancel the order in order to release the funds.
